The staircase is one of my favorite spaces to decorate! You can do so much with the steps, the railings, the landings by using bows, lights, garlands, lanterns and so much more. For this year’s fall decor, I used these “gourd-eous” natural pumpkins and gourds in different shades of pink, green and light orange. I added faux Seeded Eucalyptus garlands from Hobby Lobby to soften the look and add some greenery!
Another favorite decor accessory that everyone should have in their home, are these LED electric accent candles in different widths and sizes. I found a great set on Amazon, the Antizer Flameless Candles Pack of 9 (H 4″ 5″ 6″ 7″ 8″ 9″ x D 2.2″) Ivory Real Wax Candles with Remote Timer! Here’s the link. They are LED remote controlled candles that you can put on a timer, or turn on and off from a distance which is extremely convenient. They also flicker and imitate real candlelight. See the video below showcasing them at night on the staircase!
Lanterns are always a great way to decorate the landing spaces of a staircase and are also another great spot for the LED candles. If you’re hosting a Thanksgiving Dinner this year, there’s no better way to add ambiance to your entrance than with the flameless candles, without the worry or hassle of real candles and flames.
